Our experience

Mr. Aidin Talanehzar, principal of Rugs Factory Outlet Pty Ltd, has more than 30 years experience in the rug and carpet
industry. After spending his early years in Iran where he
learned about every aspect of hand woven and machine manufactured rugs and carpets, Aidin moved to Australia in 1975.

As an importer and wholesaler of Persian carpets for the
luxury market, Mr. Talanehzar has built a strong reputation
amongst overseas suppliers from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and China and amongst retailers throughout Australia.

His first wholesale and retail outlet was in Sydney’s Queen
Victoria Building (QVB), with a second store opening on
George Street next to the Hilton Hotel in 1985.

Rugs Factory Outlet

Rugs Factory Outlet was established over eight years ago as
Payless Rugs and Furniture in response to the growing demand for inexpensive, durable rugs. Taking advantage of this growth phase in the popular market, Rugs Factory Outlet was one of the first companies able to supply high volumes of
machine made rugs at affordable prices direct to the public.

With the help of his son, Ali, and loyal staff in four retail outlets, Rugs Factory Outlet continues to expand. Mr. Talanehzar recently appeared on Channel 10’s 'Good Morning Australia' program promoting his business. On this occasion Aidin took a few items on the show which were sold out within days of the program going to air.

Our existing suppliers manufacture high quality floor coverings and meet exacting delivery deadlines. We manufacture our rugs overseas using existing suppliers, all of whom utilize specialized machinery and the latest in chemical dyes and synthetic material.

Our suppliers ensure that consignments are properly packed, freighted in hermetically sealed containers, and delivered on time.

Our policy is to use a variety of manufacturers in different countries. This provides some degree of security in the event of unexpected interruptions to delivery schedules. It also takes advantage of the specializations achieved by manufacturers in a production of different types of goods.

Egypt

Our supplier in Egypt is expert in the production of printed nylons.

•   Oriental Weavers Carpet Factory, Cairo

These companies have years of experience in weaving printed nylon rugs, and are the largest and most reliable carpet mills in Egypt.

Belgium

Our manufacturer in Belgium is a leading expert in the use of viscose artsilk.

Turkey

The Gumussuyu Plant in Istanbul is currently producing heat set polypropylene rugs of outstanding quality.
